Instruction

We offer one-on-one music instruction to those with  disabilities at all levels of functioning and experience, and of all ages. Among the instruments we offer are:

  • singing
  • piano
  • drums
  • woodwind

We take great care always to be flexible and creative in our teaching with our students with disabilties.  In particular, our approach, the Diamond Method for Music, with its emphasis on the well-being of the student as much as on directly musical issues, is an ideal tool for bringing out the musical talent latent in our students.

Cost: $80/hour (classes are 30 mins – 1 hour)

Who is suitable?
Almost anyone.  It is our experience that, while many with disabilities have so-called learning difficulties, all have a innate desire to learn, and the adaptability of our approach means that we adapt our strategies to contact that desire and ability.
