Music Program Facilitator

_DSC0503 - Version 3 crop 2Ashley Diamond, B.A., Dip.IMH., is a singer and trumpeter who first became involved with Music Outreach fifteen years ago, quickly becoming a Music Outreach Assistant with the Institute for Music and Health, and then a Music Program Facilitator in 2007. He has facilitated music outreaches throughout the tri-state area, including a program run through Vassar College of Poughkeepsie, NY.

Ashley’s work with the IMH, and his past work with the Lavelle School for the Blind in the Bronx, has given him considerable expertise in working both with people with disabilities and with senior citizens, in both educational and outreach situations.

For as long as Ashley has been involved in Music Outreach he has been a student of the Diamond Path of Life – the work and philosophy of his grandfather, IMH founder John Diamond, M.D. He is co-founder of the Enso Reiki School, whose purpose is to integrate the broad philosophy of the Diamond Path of Life, and the Institute for Music and Health, with the traditional Japanese approach of Reiki healing.
